When in labour, it is important to try and create as much space in your pelvis as possible. Here is how to create 30% more space.
It’s really very simple. Use upright, forward and open positions such as standing, kneeling, on all fours and sitting on your birthing ball.
Making more space in the pelvis means:
- Less likelihood of intervention.
- Shorter labour.
- Reduced tearing.
- More comfortable labour.
