Having favourite affirmations could give you something to cling to when things are feeling a little tough or simply when you need to remind yourself how powerful you are. Here at JustExhale, we are big believers in the power of affirmations.
What are affirmations?
Affirmations are short positive statements that you can read and say to yourself repeatedly every day. Affirmations can really help to change how you feel and help to change your negative feelings into positive ones. With consistent practice you can feel more confident and positive about anything, it doesn’t have to be just labour and birth orientated. Try putting your favourite affirmations onto post its and put them inside your kitchen cupboard doors, on mirrors, in the car or even at your desk. The more that you see them the more impact they will have.

If you haven’t already found yourself some affirmations that resonate for you, have a google, have a look on Pinterest and find some that speak to you!
Personally, I love short sharp affirmations, in particular… I am strong, I am confident and I trust in my intuition.
